Yale- safetyschool.org?

So I saw that www.safetyschool.org is also a link to Yale's website. Can someone please explain that to me?

Why is an explanation needed, it is a safety school...duh.

A joke, presumably by a Harvard student. Just as www.gradeinflation.org is a joke, presumably by a Yale student.

I was bored, so I did a little whois digging, and yes, safetyschool.org is registered to a Paul Gusmorino, Harvard '02 (little about him here: http://www.thecrimson.com/article.aspx?ref=102597 and he's still associated with/works for Harvard). Not too surprisingly, gradeinflation.org is registered to Scott Caplan (http://blog.scottcaplan.com/dont-click-me/), Yale '06 (but is current at Harvard law ;)). BTW, safetyschool.org was first created in 2000, gradeinflation.org in 2003. Ah, the power of the internet.

Don't forget www.harvardrejects.org!

www.crappyschool.com links to Berkeley

I still haven't figured out what links to Stanford...those Berkeley EECS kids should really get on that.

www.pussyivy.com links to Princeton.

"www.crappyschool.com links to Berkeley"
"I still haven't figured out what links to Stanford...those Berkeley EECS kids should really get on that."

Haha...I love this prank stuff between schools. I remember the following Cal/Stanford prank:

During the 100th "Big Game" in 1997, Cal was going down in defeat but scored a few style points when some Cal fan got on Stanford Stadium's PA system and said "Penalty, unsportsmanlike arrogance, STANFORD SUCKS!"

Good times!

This is hilarious... it should be brought back up to lighten the tense mood. :)
