I took the SAT this month, October (and previously in March). I'm sending the score report after my new score comes in, which means it will arrive at Yale around November 10th.

Is that OK for SCEA? Do I need to send my previous (March) scores now? Or initial test scores arriving after November 1st are fine?

Make sure you mention in your application when you took the test so they know they need to wait for your scores. Otherwise, it should be fine as long as you rush them.

Wait? How do you know they'll arrive on November 10th? If you put Yale down as one of your score recipients when you signed up for the SAT it should only take about a week to get there once the scores come in right? I don't think you need to rush delivery. The website says they even take November test scores w/o rush delivery.

if i took november sat biology and put down yale as one of the score recipients, then do they receive my score report with the bio score or only the scores of what i previously took?

Wait... isn't the score thing automatic? It's by internet right???

Oct scores for SAT: definitely will arrive on time
Nov: usually will be fine, especially when this year's test date is Nov.1

My D applied SCEA two years ago and took SAT IIs in November. Scores were fine, and the admissions office even said we didn't have to rush them. We did, just in case, but they all said that November scores are always OK for SCEA. The deadlines are enforced for student stuff to get there on time, but they know that HS "grown-up" stuff and standardized scores might be a little late. That's why they don't make their final decisions known until December. Good luck!
