I'm planning to have the Common App and Yale Supplement done and dusted by Oct. 10 by latest. I'll submit it that night at 10pm after a day's review. When is everyone else submitting, given that the SCEA deadline is November 1?

bump......

once more.

They begin reviewing applications Mid-October around the 15th, stop accepting them on Nov. 1st, and send the results December 15th.

I'm getting mine in early too.

Is earlier the better?

As long as you send the application in by the deadline, midnight 11-1, you will be fine and you will not be penalized.
You do not gain points for sending it early but if you have it ready to go it is good to get it out of the way.

I sent mine in just now.

OMG. I feel free.

Are we supposed to get some sort of email telling us to schedule our interview? Isn't there like a Yale account or something?

just out of curiosity...if you do not send it in by the deadline but have "Early Action/Decision Nov1" (or whatever is the early for the school) will common app not accept your application as the decision you had marked earlier? or will they just recognize that you sent it after the deadline and put your application in the regular pile?
