So only ten days till the announcement
and Yale still hasn't asked me for the SAT score report
I reported and the web site shows that there are no scores received
Hmm. Is this like a premonition to a bad omen of a terrible result???

If Yale doesn't want me, so be it.
... I take that back. Yale must want me.

Is there anyone like me whose scores not showing in Eli account?
If it's just me, then I'll safely assume I'm informally out of the race, you're welcome.

erm dunt worry dude! i have a problem too :( my toefl score report hasnt reached yale so i called the adcom; she said that i have to ask the counsellor to fax it. I guess it shud be fine

Like I said, I already reported (paying Collegeboard extra 10 bucks) my scores.
I'm sensing two ominous things here.
1. I call them and ask why my scores don't show up. They say screw you you are not getting in you silly Californian.
2. I wait until they "notify" me something is missing; but then Yale is playing with me b/c they know I'm not getting in so they're going to ask me at the last minute, oops too late, tough luck.

This is one frenzied paranoid writing, and I exaggerated a little,
but the bottomline is I'm too scared to even call them. I'll just wait and accept my fate.

IMO, they probably just assumed you were being honest on your Application...I doubt they have time to ask for SAT score reports if they're missing (compared to a missing transcript, per se) Don't worry too much : )

My scores were not showing up for weeks. I called the office incessantly over the course of those weeks and contacted my admissions officer... finally this monday they fixed the problem!

The admissions office is EXTREMELY disorganized (which is to be expected seeing as they have to do so much so fast) so it's essential that you be on top of your own stuff. The way I saw it was, what do they care if I don't get in? If all my stuff wasn't there, then it would only make their job easier to just defer me. I refused to let missing documents be the reason for my deferral/rejection because it was something I had power over. Sooo basically, you should call them... I can guarantee that they will not be calling you. Also be persistent because they honestly really don't care enough about you to spend extra time on you. (that's actually a fact of life, unfortunately)

Thanks all of you guys, I think I will call them after all
like what eating food said, they're not going to give a dime if I'm missing a file or not

OneKing-, sorry for disgracing totally cool Californians by being paranoid :D
It's the So Cal weather, you see. It's lousy nowadays.

And I don't think counselors can fax my SAT scores... whoever said "fax them"

I know they're friendly from the last time I called them.
But didn't I make myself clear it's the fear of finding out that they dont' want me bc all this time if they were interested they would have asked me but even now as I speak there's ... oh well, never mind. I'm a wimp, just in case you can't notice.

Ironically, I called H forum CCers "uptight, tense, fierce, paranoid, etc"
Here I am at Y forum doing the same thing lol.

Well, not really. I still retain my cheerfulness in this.

If you applied EA have them faxed ASAP and then make sure that the cover sheet says EA applicant! Our SAT scores were in within 1 week of collegeboard sending them. So definately follow up. They don't know who you are when you call...so they don't know if you are in or not...but have a little more faith in yourself and you already know as everyone here should that there is an 85% chance of being deferred so make sure all of your info is in, work on your othere apps and relax.
