YALE sees decline in apps for the Class of 2009

Why are you pretty sure I'm a male, specifically? Indeed, I am arguing otherwise, specifically that you have no reason to jump to conclusions about other posters' race/gender/sexuality/age.

So, you're saying that you're a female?

I just stated what I am saying. Please kindly answer the question...

Re-post: Why are you pretty sure I'm a male, specifically? Indeed, I am arguing otherwise, specifically that you have no reason to jump to conclusions about other posters' race/gender/sexuality/age.

I happen to think that males would waste more time arguing online over something trivial than a female would.

So, you're saying that you're a female?
-- No.

Thanks that's all I needed to know :)

You're quite wrong about that assumption! I didn't say that I am female, but that isn't to say that I am not female. Another faulty assumption you have made.

There are doctors that specialize in gender identity issues.

And what is the purpose of stating that?

You seem to be unsure if you're male or female.

No, that's not what I said at all. You may lack the comprehension skills, or you may be trying to be cute to avoid the realization that you are presenting a weak argument. What I said was "I did not imply I am either male or female". I happen to think that it is irrelevant. Do you disagree?

I'm not sure why it is so hard for you to open declare your gender. At the very least, you have some identity issues to deal with.

So you do disagree, but you don't feel you have the intellectual capability to state why you disagree with me. That's fair, you think you are overmatched and don't want to proceed further... I understand.

I do disagree, yes; that would be plainly obvious to someone with even rudimentary logic skills. :D

Ok, the next step is to state why you disagree. Why do you feel that a poster's gender is relevant to their ability to reason?

I never said that, sweetheart. I asked why a male (you) winked at another male (me). To this you answered: "you don't know if I'm male." All I want to know is, if you are in fact male, why do you wink at other males.

But, I didn't say that I am, in fact, male. Where did you see that?

oh come on, why are we still debating sexual identity. It has no bearing in college discussion

yeah its almost as pointless as debating politics....sempitern and I both know that.....;)

But, I didn't say that I am, in fact, male.

I know you didn't. That's why I want you to answer.

Ahhh, politics. The Democrat Yalies (Clinton, Kerry) and the Republican Yalies (Bush, Bush). The Yale board is the only one where it is actually relevant to the university!

I know you didn't. That's why I want you to answer.

You misunderstand your role as a partcipant in these discussions. You can ask me to answer a logical argument, and I will, but that doesn't mean I'll tell you my name or race or gender or age or sexuality or location. I choose to remain anonymous, and that is a right I can exercise.

If I said female, you'd hit on me (or others would). If I said male, you'd imply I'm a homosexual (and you seem to already be doing so) for using the wrong emoticon.
