YALE SOM - Silver Scholars

Has anyone heard about this program? Anyone know how hard it is to gain admission into the program? Has anyone applied? Also, does anyone know if it is open only to Yale College seniors? Or any graduating senior from a 4-year school? Thanks.

I haven't heard of this program specifically but there are several similar programs. For example, the Tepper School has a 5-year MBA program where you could complete your undergrad in 3 years and 2 years for the MBA. Schools like Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton also accept students straight out of undergrad. But these programs are definitely difficult to get into. You have to be an exceptional candidate meaning you've had significant leadership experience (college class president, etc) and work experience (internships). This program looks like they'll accept seniors from any university. If you plan to apply, you should be able to demonstrate crystal clear goals, extraordinary leadership potential, great academics/GMAT, be active, communicative and be able to present yourself professionally. Good luck!

I have also looked into the program and it is for any accredited 4 year college senior, however, what MBAPod suggested is the reality.
