<p>I have heard a lot about "high priority" sports at Yale and other ivies such as lacrosse, basketball, crew, etc., but I have heard nothing about track.</p>

<p>I was wondering how actively the ivies recruit for track, and if being a walk-on for the track team would boost my chances of admission?</p>

<p>I don't think being a walk on for anything really improves your chances for admission, but being a recruited athlete definitely does (It more or less gets you in, almost certainly). Track recruits... if you're good enough to be recruited i'd definitely advise contacting a coach.</p>
