Yale summer program

Are there any rules for the program like a curfew or anything else?

yeah, curfew is 11 pm on weeknights and 1 am on weekends. However, no one really cared about it. If we went clubbing, we just called a friend in the dorms and had them open the door for us (they have this key entry thing, and if your number is scanned later than curfew, apparently the head people will know).

Anyway, curfew's not really a big deal. The counselors didn't really even care.

but if you get caught, it could be RUSTICATION. hahaha

hahah "rustication" was the word of YSP

yeah, TJs right about curfew. Also, if you get caught coming into the res. college late, you get a warning and the second time you have to go home. I knew a bunch of people with warnings and they said it wasn't like a huge deal or anything. Just don't get caught doing it twice.

Dani, my friend. You are mistaken. If you get caught 2 times, you get RUSTICATED. You do NOT have to go home, however. You just have to find another place to live in New Haven. :)

By the way, i'm so just having fun with this.

Thanks, I mailed my application today, but I think I typed something wrong can you tell me hot it sounds:
I was an active member in the __________ program. The ___________ program is ........................
Does that sound correct or should I have used a comma after program and then said which is or something????

and its now "Yale Summer Session" - dont know why they changed the name.

and the sentence is FINE! Stop worrying...it all comes down to if you have $4000 or whatever it is to spend. you'll get in

okay thanks, also do you know which dorm we are staying in this year, I heard from someone on here that it is Ezra/Stiles but I can't find it on their website.

I heard it was either Morse or Stiles. They're fugly. But I hear they're pretty much all single rooms, which is nice. I was lucky last summer and got a single off of a double-suite in Branford.

Oh right, TJ... rusticated, mm hmm, I forgot.
