I got accepted two days ago and I'm really excited. Please tell me all that you know (advice, facts, insider information, opinion, etc.)

GO! It could possibly be the BEST summer you'll have.

Good:
-No one really cares what you do
-11 pm "curfew" on weekdays, 1 am on weekends --> but this can EASILY be broken if you have a freind who will let you in. I think only 1 or 2 people got caught this summer and nothing happened to them.
-You get to meet AMAZING PEOPLE
-They have all sorts of outings and stuff
-Counselors are soooo much fun
-Some stuff to do in New Haven like clubs, restaurants, bars
BAD:
-Food isn't the best
-Curfew (but this is easily broken)
OTHER:
-Depends on which classes you take. My advice is...take the classes you want to take with the fewest hours involved each week. The summer goes by fast and you want to spend as much time with your friends as possible.

anything else...do a lot of people who go to summer session end up at yale? how many people go to summer session

..................................

Um, so far I know of 4 people accepted to Yale from the summer session......i think like 200 went? Not too sure on that. Spending the summer at Yale isn't going to help you or hurt you (unless you do horribly in your classes). Go if you TRULY want to take those classes there (and want to spend 5 weeks with amazing people away from home) Heh. It was a lot of fun. Food wasn't too great though, so bring extra money to eat out around campus (Au Bon Pain, thai food, chinese food, pizza, etc)
