yale undergrad here for avice/tips/questions

......hit me

lol bubba…

Is their a healthy social life in Yale?
How is the weather?

Is proper English an important part of the Yale curriculum?

do i need 2 b abel 2 speel in order 2 get in yale?

d00d u r alredy in yail.

how are the girls…guys…sorry, maybe a little superficial…just wondering :P

Then, why did you chose Yale? (lol -“That’s Why I chose Yale” musical and parody)
I would actually like to know because if you got into other schools, why Yale? It would be really hard to decide if I got into most, if not all the schools I applied to (not saying I will) but I would kind of like to just get into one or two of them (not really XD XD :X knock on wood) so that I can focus more on which to chose. I remember reading about this psychological study where people who were given fewer choices to select something tended to be happier. I guess they thought less of the “what if…I chose this or that”

But, seriously…the guys/girls? :D

@facedownclap…absolutley there is almost every type of person represented there. and connecticut weather is connecticut weather… all 4 seasons, harsh winters, hot summers…

@nine9knives…fine, dating-wise, it can be a little awkward since a lot of people are really competitive, epecially if you date inside your major, or with someone wit mutual classes.
and i choose yale out of harvard/princeton/brown/gtown/upenn/columbia… because it is very politically active there. now, yes many of the places i applied to are as well, but yale also has the yale political union, something i did all 4 years and was a leader in, and doing that you really got close, and met politicians, could debate with them, ask them questions, and me being a big political buff, i knew that i would enjoy it at yale more tan other places.

charles - How can you be a Y undergrad here and a Y grad now in H law school on your other thread?

Are you just that awesome, or is it something else?

Dude, I didn’t know they taught you how to change the past at Yale! I so want to got there now.

i meant to put yale undergrad grad “sherpa”…dont try to twist and turn my mistakes and use them to your ridiculous accusations of me being a ■■■■■.

This sentence… Oh, boy. At least try to be a convincing ■■■■■. Multiple comma splices, typos, and the vocab of a fourth grader are not gonna cut it.

Does Yale put much value in sports or student council/government (like class president sort of thing)?
Does Yale put more emphasis on gpa or class rank?
Not sure if you could answer them accurately since you are not part of yale’s admission committee, but thanks for your help.

free2rhyme: Yale’s webpages discuss this. Have you read their material?

There’s no clear cut answer

Maybe its like that on Harvard time youtube video: stupid sounding girl saying:
“When I came to Harvard I had a 2400 SAT score. Now I have a 500… a Fortune 500 (awkward forced smile)”

Did you apply to/are you familiar with Northwestern, by chance?

no i did not apply to northwestern
