Yale V/s Stanford

Hey guys,

I have managed to get through two world class Universities-Yale and Stanford for their respective undergraduate programs. I am damn confused between the two--

I wish to pursue Economics at the Undergraduate Level and then join a B-School for a MBA degree. Which place is better suited for me?

I have been told that Stanford does not have an undergraduate college whereas Yale has one-Yale College. Will this make any difference. I am also told that Law at Yale rocks. But what about Econ?? Please help me out. Locations are NOT an issue for me (San Fransisco is good but Nerw Haven will do) I am not concerned about financial aid either. I want to go to a place where I will get a better overall undergraduate experience. (not restricted to academics)

Replies will be appreciated- It will frame my career guys!

Uh, a few things...

1) They both have undergraduate colleges (though it isn't formally called that at Stanford)
2) Stanford is in Stanford, California, right by Palo Alto, which is near San Francisco. It isn't in San Francisco.
3) They both are strong in econ. What does Yale's law school have to do with anything? (As an added note, Stanford's is top-notch, too.)

All in all, the two are academic equals and you'll go far either way. The difference depends on personal factors: student body size, atmosphere, location, etc. Stanford's undergrad experience is highly acclaimed, but then again, Yale's probably is too.

I personally would go to Stanford -- better location, strength in my intended major, etc.
