Yale vs MIT for an international

Hello everyone!

I would like to know which of the schools, between Yale and MIT, do you consider will quicklier offer admission to an international student (asking for fa).

The strongs of the student would be its ECs (although he hasn't done research or had a summer job) and its weaker points would be the sat I scores (think of 2100, maybe 2200).

Thank you!

Is this for yourself?

Yes it is.

Yale in my opinion is better. MIT’s international pool is very competitive. The acceptance rate is around 2%. Most of them have amazing scores and international awards. I think you would have a better chance at Yale.

If your essays are anything like this post, don’t expect entrance to either.

Thank you PurePhysics, but they are not.

Thanks AnnaTheGreat!

This is like comparing apples to oranges.

Both are fruits, why can’t you compare them?
I would just like to know the numbers, and it appears it is much easier to be accepted at Yale. Just that.
