Woot I just got off the waitlist for ASE. I’d really love to go, but they only gave me $500, and 5k is a bit much for my family to handle. Does anybody know if it’s possible to email them and ask for more aid?
hey guys i just got off the waitlist for ASE!! is there a facebook group or something for us? also @puretruth you can definitely appeal for more aid im not 100% sure how though
@jess1911 Ah yay then I’ll be meeting you (if I end up going haha)! I actually did email them appealing for more aid but they replied saying that their financial packet was limited so no go. I think I might try online fundraising?

Congrats! My DD is there now and really enjoying it. Make sure you DD takes a great fan because the residential college is stifling. Also, don’t spend the money on the gym membership.

You don’t need a gym membership to use the gym! Showing them your lanyard and name tag is enough.

Please do so! YYGS is such a great experience. It is not just some program for you to add Yale to your resume. The people you meet there will probably be the greatest friends that you could meet. You will be able to meet Yale students and talk to them about issues at Yale and such. The program is really great; you will love it. Again, the other students you may meet at Yale, may be the best people you will encountered. Just apply! Message me if you want more information!
