Yale?

<p>Do you guys think I have a chance at Yale?</p>

<p>SAT
Math: 740
CR: 710
Writing: 700</p>

<p>I'm planning to take the ACT (with writing) this fall.</p>

<p>GPA: 4.46 (I don't know if that weighted or unweighted)</p>

<p>My school does not offer AP's, but I am in all honors courses. I am also taking community college courses (completed Psych 101 and now I'm doind Eng 101).</p>

<p>Extra-Curriculars:
- Vice President of Student Government
- Member of Amnesty International
- Member of Yearbook
- Member of Mock Trial
- Member of Academic Decathlon (won 3 medals)
- Member of Student Council
- Historian for school's Thespian Troop
- Taken Acting classes for 3 years (been in one school play, did backstage work for two)
- 10 years of Indian Classical Dance
- Girls State Delegate (Speaker of the House, Outstanding House Official)
- Math tutor at a local learning center
- Completed at least 150 hours of volunteering at a local hospital
- Going to do a 35 hour senior community service project
- Currently completing a paid 120 hour internship in a university lab</p>

<p>And what state? Your test scores are marginal in your demographic pool. Class rank? out of how many?</p>

<p>I think your stats are fine, but you need some outstanding acomplishment or leadership position. I'd say you belong there, but in this crazy admissions market classroom performance, standardized test scores, and participation in a variety of EC's are not enough.</p>
