I am thinking of applying to Yale's MA program in European Studies, I would follow the Central and Western European Studies track.

I think that this interdisciplinary program is very neat considering I'm a linguistics major that loves languages and EUropean culture. I've studied Spanish in high school, French, Italian and Hungarian in college. I'd actually love to continue with Hungarian....hard language, but not THAT hard....it's starts to "click" after about 6 weeks. Ooooh, to go to Budapest......

Anyway, I thought the program may be something worth considering and I think I will apply for fall 2007 admission. I ultimately plan to work for the government, although other options I am considering involve tourism, or translation/interpretation.

Does anyone have any experience with this program or Euriopean Studies at Yale in general?
