haha sorry dude

I think you have a great chance

As good a chance as any qualified student.

Your chance is good as long as you plan to study something French-related in college.

Mariachi band?
That is so tight.
Yeah, the Siemens thing is a pretty heavy one in your favor.
You have a great chance.

great chance!!! i guess we're kinda similar in a way?? except you have a loottt more awards... im totally procrastinating on my app ahaha
by frenchy did you mean me? lolllll

thanks guys for ur input

the wait is insane

lol... hopefully u didnt mention some of those ECs.. no offense... typical korean stats (no offense)... ur cool because ur a vocalist and are in a marichi band... everything else seems bland no offense... ur from new york u can do better lol... haha sick deal dude... SCEA= 16%... and ur out of state... Good Luck i hope u DO get accepted.

i think that was the most realistic post..thanks ambitious teen.....*sigh im back on realistic terms now.

you're near perfect application i think is tarnished by your GPA
stanz is one of those colleges that say they look first at your grades, so it might be kind of bad for you
but if it wasn't for that, i'd say you were a shoo-in!

except i don't think there's a single way that anyone can be a shoo-in at stanford

oprah all you care about is gpa....
Ignoring oprah, your chance is pretty good considering that you actually seem to have a focus in your app. I am betting that you will get in

um...except it's true?

regardless - pose, you defz have a better chance at stanf than aegis!

yea i agree for once,
oprah, may I be the first to tell you that althoughStanford does look at GPA, it aint everything, and that there are more to decisions than your GPA, your GPA doesnt even count for half of the decision

I think your chances are pretty good, although you might be hurt because your stats/activities are almost exactly what they would imagine a motivated Korean kid in NY would have.

But I have a question about the French awards: you were 9th in the nation and 7th in the county? Whatever county you're from must house the French Embassy or something. And were these ranks shared by anybody else, etc.?

Is this a public or private school?

TheMatrix411: the National French Contest is a MC test so like i guess none wrong would be 1st place one wrong 2nd place etc...so i proabbly got nine wrong on the whole test along with about 10-20 kids in the country ors oemting....yeah its shared by a lot of people...i hope stanford doenst noe this LOLL

mercruz: public about 200 in the class. the top gpa is 4.33 and mine is 4.22 so that is like top 10 percent
