My son received his MIT tube today! Until recently, we did not know this was an MIT tradition. He had a lot of fun opening it up and checking it out. In fact, that tube was fun for the whole family! Yay Tubes!

grin Yay tubes, indeed :)

i got in ea and received my acceptance mail a few days ago but it didn’t come in a tube… does anyone know why?

@djchosam: MIT doesn’t notify EA and RD applicants by mail, apart from sending tubes to admitted EA students. But if you applied through Questbridge, it’s possible you received notification through the post.

@djchosam: my friend who lives in Canada didn’t get a tube either. So I guess they don’t ship tubes internationally?

I didn’t know tubes were only for EA. I’m glad I applied EA now haha. My friend got her tube today, on Christmas. It’s sort of like a Christmas present, which is pretty cool.

But I haven’t gotten mine yet :(

They don’t ship tubes internationally, you’re correct.

Haha congrats guys, merry Christmas!

No tube for me, but my Art of Problem Solving books came in the mail today, which was a nice early Xmas present, hahaha

oh im living in korea thats why… man i was hoping for the tube
