<p>You were recently offered a Cal Grant award by the California Student Aid Commission (Commission) for the 2009-10 award year and indicated your intent to attend a California State University (CSU) on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Changes were made to your Cal Grant award amount based on the California State Budget that was signed on July 28, 2009.</p>

<p>To check your updated award information, please go to WebGrants for Students (WGS) at <a href="https://webgrants4students.org%5B/url%5D"&gt;https://webgrants4students.org&lt;/a> and review your Cal Grant status. The Commission encourages you to create WGS account if you haven't already. In WGS, you can view the status and terms of your Cal Grant, make schools changes and request a leave of absence. To retain your award, it is very important to keep your account information current.</p>

<p>Congratulations, but if you didn’t receive the Cal Grant, UCSD will increase their grant to compensate for it, as in my case.</p>

<p>I think there are like 2 or 3 topics saying that Cal grant wasn’t cut for the 2009-2010 school year. So this seems a little redundant, but congrats nonetheless.</p>

<p>lol lucky… i’m in situation where my cal grant is ineligible because they’re saying that they never received my gpa verification. So trying to work it out with them. But UCSD replaced my cal grant and put UCSD grant and work study to compensate for it… hopefully i’ll receive cal grant though…</p>

<p>I didn’t get Cal Grant A, but they gave me more UCSD grant so I’m pretty happy ^^</p>
