<p>i got my acceptance email, and i was wondering, when will i be notified if i received any sort of merit aid?</p>

<p>"We sent out the letter, but we couldn't wait to tell you"</p>

<p>Well, financial/merit aid comes after you send in FAFSA...or so I hear.</p>

<p>merit-based aid normally comes with your acceptance letter in the mail. need-based aid is given to you after you file a FAFSA.</p>

<p>oh.. well thats unfortunate.. so because i didnt get anything with my acceptance letter, i probably wont get any???</p>

<p>i was def. expecting at least 10K a year.. without that, rutgers becomes out of the question..</p>

<p>it doesn't come with acceptance. It will come after your FAFSA is filed much later in the year.</p>

<p>on the rutgers website there is a chart showing approximately how much aid you would get depending on your sat's and gpa and according to that i should get money, however, i didn't get any with my acceptance so i think they'll be sent later</p>

<p>Yea, it will probably be sent around January or February. If you don't get it by then, call up the office.</p>

<p>I just got an acceptance letter and i applied to 7 year med program....does that mean i got into that program or just the college?</p>

when was your application complete?</p>

<p>i believe i submitted a few days before December 1st. </p>

<p>and i received my notice by email on December 6th, and then the packet in the mail came a few days later.</p>
