Yayyyyyyy?

Omg. Omg.

So anyways, this past Friday I just received my updated transcript.
For those of you that don't know me, I was here a few months ago fretting over the whole "will I be accepted if I'm not top 10% thing" and have since been stressing over it...

but this Friday - I FOUND OUT I'M IN TOP 10%!!!!!
HELLLZZZ YEASSS!

:) I'm number 69/696. Apparently, in the words of my friend, I'm the "kid that everyone hates" because I'm also the dividing border between top 10 and...not. So happy guys!! I'm actually getting extra paranoid too because I'm thinking "dang, so close. What if I come in on monday and they tell me they've made a mistake and I'm actually number 70?!"

ANYWAYS. My valid question is:
I sent in my transcript & app in october, when I wasn't in top 10%. Now that I am, when I send in my updated transcript...how long will it take to be processed and admitted?

The deadline isn't until feb. 1, so my transcript will definitely make it there on time. I'm just really paranoid until I can actually see the 'Congrats' message on my UT login page.

Also, What I'm doing is fine, right? I can still send it in and be considered top 10% even though I already sent in my transcripts, right?

:) thanks a bunch!

Ok so here's the deal, just send one in ASAP. If you don't get in with your current stats(assuming they don't get the transcript in on time), then you can appeal your rejection if there is a large change in your application(which there is) and you should get in then. My friend didn't get in on his appeal, because the change in his application was a few percentage points from like 25 to 20%(even though he had like 1420 M+R SAT, and good ECS), but in this case you are what the "appeal" is meant for.
