Yale Daily News - Early admit rate rises slightly

how the ****? I know of 0 acceptances and 12 deferrals

Stanford wins (loses?) with 13.7% this year.

0.3%—no difference haha

Much greater than the 0.2% difference is the fact the S defers relatively few applicants compared to Y. For better or worse, they have a very different admissions philosophy when it comes to deferral.

50% deferred seems a bit unusual for Yale…

S deferred like 15% right? And S has a 10% deferrel acceptance rate. Y in years past has had, what like 25%?

Y deferral rate was 47% last year:

CC SCEA deferrals were admitted at about the RD rate: 5%. There is no firm statistical evidence for deferral admissions practices but the anecdotal references I have found suggests it is the same or slightly above the RD rate. It is nowhere near 25%.

Ah, my mistake. I do remember reading that somewhere though. :

Must have been really, really old.

I was just joking. Relax.
