YDN Article on Affirmative Action

<p>It saddens me that Yale and the other Ivies are pursuing race-based affirmative action when it's clear there are more important factors in a person's life: </p>

<p>Personally, I continue to think it’s a good thing, and I also commend Yale for broadening it to look more at socio-economic status. Remember, if you strongly oppose one of Yale’s policies, you can always choose to apply to other schools that don’t have such a policy.</p>

<p>Posts about affirmative action are allowed only in the AA thread in the College Admissions forum. I am closing this thread. </p>
