<p>pretty strong course load, took 6 APs, two languages, but no EC's of particular note</p>
<p>college (ohio state) stats (also i'm going to be a sophomore):</p>
<p>gpa: 3.89
majors: poli sci and arabic
minor: persian
ECs: editing undergraduate research journal, working with a prof on his poli sci research project</p>
<p>course load is pretty heavy, mostly taking 4 classes instead of 3, language classes and some GECs have been the only intro level courses i've taken, all poli sci classes have been high level. also i'm taking a graduate level poli sci course this qtr, and hopefully another one winter qtr. </p>

<p>not sure what others though; i'd preferably like to go to a school that offers persian, but that's a very rare thing to find. suggestions are welcome and encouraged</p>
<p>You’re in the running, but most of those schools have high retention and only take a small number of transfers, so if you really want to transfer, you should add some where they take bigger numbers.</p>
<p>i know that gtown offers it (and cornell and penn too, but i don’t know offhand); however, gtown doesn’t guarantee housing (penn doesn’t either, and i’m wagering cornell doesn’t) and i don’t want to be stuck trying to find housing after i transfer. it happened to my roommate who transferred to penn but couldn’t find housing… i want to avoid that happening.</p>
