Okay, another generic chances thread, but I just read the "Graduating Early HS" one and it made me want to crawl into my emo corner because I'm graduating high school early as well and my statistics are nowhere near as impressive. So just feel free to tell me that I will totally get rejected because I need a reality check.

A little background -- I'm a first-generation immigrant and I've been here for ~10 years. I come from a pretty much hick town in Wisconsin and nobody here applies to big schools. Nobody. And my school only offers four AP classes! We have two college credit classes but I have no idea what Harvard's take is on those.

ACT 32
SAT 2060
Critical Reading 750
Math 660
SAT II
Literature 730 (I'm taking the subject tests again because my other scores sucked.)
*My scores are sickening, I know.

GPA 3.917
Top 15% of my class, but our school system is totally messed up and most of the kids with high grades take easy class so I don't know if Harvard will take that into account...

My grades have always been As, but I've been sucking it up this year. Well, mostly one class - AP Calc. It's horrid and I'm not the best at math to begin with. I will refrain from mentioning my grade in that class because it would just burn your eyes. I'm getting >100% on my College Credit classes though, but granted those have curriculum from local colleges and their coursework isn't really that hard.

EXTRACURRICULARS
THREE YEARS
Student Council - Currently Secretary, have always been heavily involved
FFA - My favourite EC and I've been involved since 8th grade. Vice-President Freshman year. I've won two state-wide essay contests with it and placed 4th in State for Parli Pro and got a Silver in Nationals for Food Science.
Forensics - Speaking contest thing. Heavily involved, medaled multiple times at State for Solo Acting.
Hi-Q - This Academic/Quiz Bowl deal. Heavily involved and it's really competitive.
Band - Flautist turned Percussionist. Heavily involved.
Drama Club - We don't really do anything, but I'm as involved in it as they get.
Science Club - Same as up there.
TWO YEARS
Link Crew/RSVP - This freshman orientation thing up at the high school. It's tied with Student Council so I'm pretty involved.
National Honor Society - We don't really do anything...
Golf - I refer to what I do in this as 'Faux-Golfing' because I'm horrible and serve as a self-confidence booster for everyone else on the team. Harhar.
FBLA - Not so heavily involved, but I've placed at State.
French Club - If you're in French class, you're in French Club, lol.

I also play harp and piano (7 and 12 years respectively) and have not won any major competitions because there aren't many around here, but we have this thing called Solo & Ensemble. It's a music competition of sorts and I've always placed 1st...

COMMUNITY SERVICE
Ooh, yeah, not much there. Lol. Okay, actually I have a ton of hours racked up, but they're all for my extracurricular activities up there... I go to nursing homes on holidays and play for them there and I play at my church a lot, but I've never like, volunteered at a soup kitchen or set up a foundation. I go help kids at a mission school when I go home to the Philippines every year, but it's really not that big of a deal because I just help the teacher... :/

Okay, that's it. I know you all are thinking "Oh my God, she's never going to get in and that's one less person to compete against! What a LOSAR!". So please, just rip me apart now.

Much thanks.
