Sorry if we've already had a thread on this, but what are everyone's yearbook themes, if you've gotten them yet? My school's is TV- the cover says, "it's not all in black and white" and a lot of the pages are themed around certain shows. Lame. Another school in my area did "oh the places you'll go" and had a doctor suess-ish cartoon of their school on the cover. I liked it, at least better than my school's:). So anyway, what are your guys' themes?

ours pertains to the hurricanes (I live in Florida)

Ours aren't really theme-y (though "Oh the places you'll go" was our HC theme). Last years' was "Caught in the Middle" because last year was pretty crazy: there was building construction throughout the year, there was a huge referendum thing, and our school was 550 people over its limit. The year before was "Blueprints for the Future."

--; There's definately no theme in the yearbook this year. :/. But it would be cool if there's a theme in the yearbook. >] What theme are you planning?

Our yearbooks are always Dragon themed, since it's our mascot, but this year's prom theme is Casablanca.

ours last year was "True Colors" because previously not all of the yearbook was in color. and year before that it was "The road not taken" and then before that it was "shine" with a bunch of star junk. we haven't gotten ours yet this year and the yearbook staff is all secretive about it for whatever reason.

Our yearbook was navy blue and it had a baby blue light bulb. The theme was "Blue Light Special" because our mascot is the Blue Devil (just like Duke's)

This year's -- Illumination
Last year's -- Teas, Test, and Truth (Teas reflect Taiwanese social life, tests are self-explantory, and truth is our school's founding principle/motto)
Last last year's -- As One

Being a Christian school, we usually have somewhat religious themes.

Last year- Memories
This Year- Endless Beginnings (although it's supposed to be confidential)
Next Year- I will not tell, as this one is actually unknown to all except the other staff members and me, as well as our advisors...

Last year, it was "Looking *Four*ward to Looking Back"
This year, "You are here."
Our yearbook has won 2nd in the state for the past 3 years.

This year: Slanted
Last year: Random

Interesting....I wonder what's the Class of '07 theme is going to be

Ours this year is Music - more specifically, about The Doors song "When the Music's Over". Considering the yearbook editing team consists of my twin brother (Graphic Design major - going to BU), his friends (Photo major going to RIT and comp. sci major going to Seton Hall) plus some other good classmates, our yearbook is gonna rock. The theme is usually kept a secret, but since my twin and I obviously live together it would have been hard for him to keep it a secret, so he just told me. I've parts of it and it is awesome!! Best yearbook in the 15 years that the teacher who teaches the class has said (also my english 11-honors teacher - she rules!)

I just got my yearbook on Wednesday and the cover of our yearbook is a nickel representing the class of 05 and the message under that is "Expect Change"

I got my yearbook on tuesday and our theme was "Too good to be forgotten" we're a new high school and so we're setting like traditions I guess.. next year is the first year we'll even have a senior class so there ya have it :)

2005: We are...
2004: Connected
2003: Raiders we ever shall be

last year ours was about the beach...because we are in the sunset district of san francisco...it sucked ass
but this year, it is our 150 year anniversary...so everything was old fashion-y...it was really good...waaay better than last year and everybody loved it

Story of the Year

Catchy, no?

Our yearbook usually wins alot of awards, but Im not sure how hard they are to get. They do go to NYC alot, and my school is in CA so I'd assume its a good yearbook. The advisor(my honors English 3 teacher) is a slave driver. I've seen him drive people to tears.

2004: What For?
2003: Revolutions
2003: Ripple Effect

Our theme this year is "Oh the Places You'll Go."
