Years of Language effect Admission...?

Hi guys I am a senior in North Carolina applying only to in state publics such as UNC Chapel hill, NC State, App State, UNCG, and UNCC. In my freshmen year I took Japanese and planned to continue with it, but the teacher got laid off and there was no more Japanese class. So Sophomore year I took Spanish I, and Junior year I took Spanish II. I'm signed up for Spanish III next semester but...

I always feel behind in spanish and foreign languages really are not my thing, and I moved from CT to NC over the summer so I am probably going to be even more behind as they may have learned different things...

Basically my question is will these in state colleges change their opinions or decisions on my admission based on only having two years of the same language? I really don't want to take another spanish course and would much rather take the architecture course that is going next semester at my school.

How much foreign language do you need in order to graduate from your high school?

How many years are specifically required for admission at the places you are applying to? Please note the word “required”.

If you have enough to graduate, and the minimum for admission, you are done. Take the class that is more meaningful for you and don’t look back.
