Wanted to share with everyone that I got accepted to Barnard for spring 2005 :-) I will be a sophomore transfer. Anyone else going?

I'm biased, but definitely Barnard! I had to make the same choice, and now that I'm here I'm really glad I chose Barnard. But they're very different schools. CONGRATS, either way!

do you mind posting your e-mail or some way to contact you. i'm sorry but i have a lot of questions and i'd love to talk to you some more. i am leaning heavily toward barnard, but i'd still like to talk to you about your choice and your experience there now. thanks

Congratulations! I'm hoping to transfer ot barnard for my sophmore year. I was wondering what kind of extra curricular activities you participated in.

Thanks

Sure, my AIM name's primefactor83. Always happy to help if I can.

i was just about to post a thread about transfering to barnard.

i was wondering what your stats were?

I'm a freshman (this is my first semester) at the University of San Francisco, a History major and have no GPA yet, considering that no grades have been submitted because this term isnt over yet.

So if i want to apply for fall 2005 is that possible? I'd only have completed 32 semester units of credit at the time of transfer, but only 16 upon applying.

Anyway.. i'm rather confused about this whole thing, and I dont even know if i even have a shot at Barnard.

Yes, you can apply. That's when I applied, too.

will it help that I applied to barnard ed and got deferred?

Hard to say. Since you applied ED, they already knew you were sure you wanted to go here. The pressure is on you to show how you've proven yourself as a student at your college, but also how you'd be better off at Barnard. Try to improve on whatever you think the weakest part of your application was before.
