Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssss!!!!!!

Congratulations! It gives me great pleasure to invite you to attend the University of Pennsylvania as a member of the School of Engineering and Applied Science.

The members of the Class of 2009, the 253rd graduating class since Benjamin Franklin founded the University in 1740, are an outstanding group of individuals. After carefully reviewing nearly 19,000 applications for our class of 2,400 students, we are pleased that every admitted student will have the opportunity to contribute to our heritage of academic excellence, social leadership, and cultural advancement. We offer you world-renowned faculty, nationally recognized academic departments, and an unparalleled freedom of intellectual exploration.

While we are eager for you to join the Class of 2009, we realize fully the importance of the decision you must make in the next few weeks. If there are questions that you or your parents have, or if you have not yet visited Penn and would like to do so, please let us assist you. Our Welcome to the Class of 2009 website provides visitor information, schedules, maps, and telephone numbers for your convenience. When you reach your decision, please return the reply card, which you will receive in your admissions packet of information, and acceptance deposit to us by the first of May.

On behalf of the Penn community and the admissions staff, congratulations again on your outstanding achievements. We look forward to welcoming you to our campus in September.
