ALSO. my counselor recently gave me a way to contact the admissions officer at bc because i met her about a week ago. we talked for 5-ish minutes and i really hope she got a good impression of me.
should i take advantage of this opportunity and keep contact with her? or is that too annoying/desperate? and if i should, what should i start off by saying?

i think sending in ur act scores might be a waste of money, unless it shows a high reading score or something. You have pretty good EC's

make sure ur commonapp essay is awesome, because there are 30,000 apps, and prolly 15,000 have similar credentials to u. You have to make ur essay stand out that much!

i just got my acceptance to csom today!!! :]]

i have a 2130 and 1360/1600 on my sats too.. haahha but 710 math 650 reading.
and my satIIs suck more than yours..
but i got a 33 on my act, so of course i sent it =)

i have a bunch of extra curriculars too.
my common app essay was pretty awesome ahahah.. showed personality.
and also my recs were probably really good (:

i think you have a chance loll
my friends who are better than me academically got deferred =X but i got in.. dunno how but YEAAAAAYUH!

argh, i really regret not applying early action. i was under the impression that early is more competitive than regular, but now i wish i just took the chance. LOL.

guess ill just have to wait for the regular decision round. in the meantime, anyone else want to chance me again?

EA at Boston College is indeed more competitive than RD. Since your stats are not at the top end of the applicant pool, I think that, at best, you probably would have been deferred if you had applied EA.

You probably have a better chance with RD, although admission to CSOM in particular is very competitive. Your GPA is not very high, although if that is an unweighted average and you have taken lots of honors and AP classes, it won't hurt as much. Except for biology, your SAT scores are good and you have ECs and community service. Being a minority will also help.
