Yes, another schedule thread--is it rigorous enough? (for jr yr)

AP Euro
AP Eng/Lang
CIS ( College in the schools program through the UMN)Anatomy and Physiology
Honors Chemistry
Precalc/or AP Calc BC
French 3/4
Electives [gym,robotics, engineering tech etc.]

I don't think it's rigorous enough.I also don't want to do PSEO next year because I might find it too overwhelming, and might consider doing it during my senior year instead.

That seems fine for most colleges. Where are you applying?

I’m talking top 30 schools.

Seems perfectly fine, could you take an AP elective?

That’s fine, relax o.-. No need to absolutely overwhelm yourself.

How is an option pre calc/ AP calc BC. Are you taking both in the same year?

^ No, If I decide to not be lazy I could take precalc over the summer. But I highly doubt that I would, so it’s most likely that I’d be taking pre-calc.

I can’t fit in AP Physics and I can’t take an AP elective. I maybe could at a neighbouring school but then that would conflict with my schedule.

bump? 10char

bump.10char

you are fine
don’t worry

Pre-cal is very hard to squeeze into a summer (they will inevitably skip some topics). If you take that route I’d suggest taking Cal AB instead of BC if that’s an option.

If you think it would be rigorous, it’s rigorous. Some people would breeze through your schedule, others would have a very difficult time with it. Basically, it should be fine for top 30 schools. For most acceptees it would be about the average junior year schedule, so it’s not a hard enough schedule to catch a top school’s eye and have them say “wow, this applicant really challenged themselves”.
