What would be my chances if I got a 32 -34 on the ACT ...i plan on explaining the situation with SAT with a letter...i think my friend started a topic like this for me......

Overall, as long as you get a solid ACT like you mention, I think you have a great chance as long as you have a good essay. Good luck!

I'll second the sentiment about the ACT, as it was also my better score. Your ec's are really good (though maybe I'm biased as a former speech and debater myself). You are obviously well rounded, and I can tell you from experience that this is more important to ND than being a one-shot wonder with standardized tests.

My roomate was on the debate team this year. It's kind of a young organization, so if you joined you would probably have good leadership potential. I wish there was an interp branch, but I've had to replace that void with theater :-) Good luck!

Yeah those SAT scores are so horrible, you only got a 1860! Shame on you. Haha that's close to what I got and I didn't even leave the test early. Those aren't bad scores (well, they are compared to the ones on here).

If you can get your projected ACT scores then your in good shape...

i also think the ACT is a lot easer! try it out--if you do well, don't even send your SAT scores and explain your emergency... make sure you get one of those ACT book and brush up on all the BS english rules and old math stuff you learned in jr. high... is the "basketball" a varsity basketball? just curious... but yeah you are very well-rounded; I love that you founded that organization--DEFINITELY emphasize that! good luck!

You are in if you come close to your projected ACT Scores.

Your GPA is great, and your rank as well.
Being that you are a URM, and the combination of your GPA/Rank/ECs... I think you are in.

GOOD LUCK!

yeah varsity... but i dont think i can be recruited

oh wow that's great then; get the ACT up and you're good--BUT nothing is certain. They have rejected perfect standardized tests! show lots of interest and work hard on the essay!

I'd take you in a heartbeat! I'd make sure your essay reflects your life experiences and what you have overcome to be able to have performed as well as you have in the setting you've had.

I think you're in . Hopefully your AACT score will be what you hope if not study for both and your scores will come up. But ND isn't just about scores I think you should get in just as things are now. God luck
