<p>Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me determine my chances, I am thinking now that my stats may be a little low:
SAT: 2120, M 670, W 710, CR 740
GPA: 3.85w
SAT ll: lit 670, math l 720 (will be retaking, taken after a uh...busy friday night)
PSAT: 212
ECs: key club, csf, varsity volleyball 4 yrs, club volleyball 5yrs (I have talked to the coach and she said I would definitely make the college team), summer intern 2 yrs, park and rec volunteer, volunteer coach for a summer volleyball camp
APs: world hist 3, ap calc ab 2 :(, ap bio 3, ap studio art 4, ap eng lang 3
to be taken: econ, gov, stats, eng lit</p>
<p>Hey. You definitely have a chance at getting in, most of your scores are at least fairly near the averages. CMC cares a lot aobut leadership so stuff like volunteer coaching will really help you out. Talk to their coach some more, she might be able to at least slightly help your chances or give you some advice.</p>
<p>The AP scores are too low to be of much help for admissions or to get credit for anything. You have to think about the college admission process like this: they report tons of statistics about the entering freshman class, where do you fit in? At the same time, keep in mind the college admissions process is SO random. This year I know they turned down so many valedictorians but also let in some people barely in the top 10% or not even in the top 10%. From observing the school though, you can see why. CMC students have certain identifying traits: athletic, ambitious, well-rounded, bright, and motivated. They wear so many "hats". A CMC student is versatile. Anyways, I would work on your extra-currics a bit more. Starting a succesful business is always a good start...:).</p>
