Im planning on applying for this coming summer's YESS program at Caltech, I didn't apply last year because my teachers thought I was a lazy kid so... No recommendations from any teacher I asked. But I am sure I can get one this year since one of them promised me on and I can win their hearts again. I read through the site and it says only 30 people make it in? I don't care about the location and stuff, obviously since I live like 15-20 minutes away from Caltech. So is it hard during the camp/program? Is it a good experience? Honestly I am gonna go into Computer Science and go to Caltech as an undergraduate. Its not I hope; its I am.

Cliffs: How cool is the YESS Program? Will a Computer Science oriented kid like the program? Its not like robotics or anything, but physics and biology... Also if I do the program, that means I have to make up my art credit in my Senior year and I won't have time for art class in summer (for credit) and no time for football... But YESS is worth having an extra class senior year and not going to the summer football camp

And don't worry, I fit the requirements, I am taking AP Physics and Pre Calc...

Edit: 3,500 sq. ft. WEIGHT ROOM and we can have access to that everyday?! Damn, I am signing up as soon as the apps open
