If you could be so kind to give some input on my chances for these schools :)...I know a million worried kids have already asked too...

UCB
UCLA
UCSD
Harvey Mudd
Caltech
Pomona
Carnegie Mellon

My parents are from India, and I grew up here. I go to a public high school with an API of 830 (around there?), and am ranked 30/728 (top 4-5%), and part of ELC.

SAT I: 730reading, 720math, 730writing (2180)
SAT2s: 760chem, 770 math level2, 760 U.S. hist., 740 bio
AP scores: 5 euro, 5 chem, 5 bio, 5 calcAB, 4 english language, 4 U.S. hist

Sr. Yr Classes:
AP Eng Lit
AP Calc BC
AP gov
APES
AP art hist
orchestra (for all 4 years actually)

Now...unfortunately for my GPA ><
9th- 1 B, 5 A's both semesters (3 honors) (3.83, 3.83)
10th- 2 APs (chem, euro) 1 B, 5 A's both semesters (4.17, 4.17)
11th- 5 APs , stupidly screwed up 1st semester-- 2 As, 3 Bs, 1 C (in calc) . 2nd semester-- 4 As (A in calc btw), 2 Bs (4.0, 4.5)

So apparently the way UC calculates GPA I learned really screws up everything...apparently my weighted would be a 3.99 as opposed to 4.2, (not to mention the horrible unweighted due to jr year) ><!?

In any case, I have strong EC's and hopefully wrote a good essay. But how else are chances looking?
