yet another borin question...but urgent!

SATI: 2040
CR 650
M 790
W 600

SATII: 760 770 800

i'm applyin to HYPS & Cornell.should i retake SATI??any advice?...i'm not willing to retake..but honestly speaking my SATI needs improvement though...Please give me some advice as i have only a few hours left before the deadline for registration for the DEC test...

thx a lot

I would absolutely retake it...even if you are extremely qualified in other aspects, you might end up hating yourself if you don't

EDIT: and STUDY a LOT for this test

any one else could give me any suggestions???please...

bump bump bump

Take it again, high 600's will scrape by with a steller application, but a 600 will be a miracle.

Hope that doesn't come across as particurally harsh - just kind of standard...

take it again. focus mainly on the CR, im sure w/ a lotta studying you can get it up to 700=. study writing too, b/c 600 is kinda low...i think aiming for a 650 would be the bare minimum. colleges dont plan on taking the writing too much into account, but to be on the safe side u'd want at least high 600s

wow, you belong on the asynchronous thread. writing probably won't matter quite as much as the other two sections, but since a CR score can be very difficult to improve (how the hell do you become a better reader in a month?), you should maybe focus on grammar concepts before the next test. It should be a lot easier to improve writing with some intense practice (strunkel& white, grubers, exercises in study guides). Your already very high math score, and a higher writing score (aim for above 700), would divert attention from your comparatively low CR.

thx everyone!
