Yet another chance post. Check it out, maybe?

<p>Hello. I'd firstly like to thank you for clicking on this thread and showing it some love. Secondly, I would like to add a disclaimer that I am applying to 12 universities and colleges. You most definitely do not have to chance all of them. Simply pick and choose the ones that you are the most knowledgeable of. Thank you.</p>

<p>My stats are not nearly as impressive as I would like them to be. And although a mental disorder is in no way an "excuse," please keep in mind that during 11th grade, I went through a "rough patch," (excuse the trite phrase) which was reflected in my grades. I am confident that my Common App essay, personal statements and letters of recommendation are strong. Thank you in advance for your time and effort in chancing yet another frazzled college applicant.</p>

<p>Note: I have not included any "fluff" classes such as Ceramics, Health, Personal Finance, Food for Fitness, Gym, etc. </p>

Purdue University (EA)
Ohio State University (EA)
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor (EA)
Wellesley College (RD)
University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign (EA)</p>

<p>Bump…</p>

<p>I’m sorry, but I don’t know any of these colleges. I would like to chance back, but I dont have any knowledge regarding your list :(</p>

<p>We meet again!
Barnard College (RD) — not very familiar with this college
Bryn Mawr College (ED!!!) — high match (they started getting selective even if they have a rather low SAT system)
Case Western Reserve University (EA) – Match. CWRU are suckers for solid to stellar ECs and internships
Northeastern University (EA) – match. They love a well rounded student with internships. Be prepared for a tough and strong co-op program
Purdue University (EA) – match. I’ve heard rumors they migh step up their game a bit so this is borderling match/high match
University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign (EA) - High Match. Beautiful campus but their admissions process is very SAT/GPA based. Watch out for that.</p>

<p>Does anyone else need chancing? Shoot me a private message!</p>

<p>Classof2018app, that’s alright! thanks anyways!</p>

<p>alextld, That was quick! Thank you so much! That made me feel a lot better about my status for a lot of these schools (dont know if the new-found confidence is a good thing though!). Thanks again!</p>

<p>Case Western- match
Northeastern- safety
OSU- low match
UMichigan- high match</p>

<p>Good luck!</p>

<p>YeahBuddy007 (I like the 007 reference btw!), thank you! I was a bit iffy about northeastern and umich, but hopefully all goes well!</p>

<p>bump…</p>

<p>Your SAT seems at the range for all of these colleges, maybe northeastern.
You had tough scheduling throughout high school which shows rigor. You work hard.
Maybe take the SAT once more just to be extra safe and reach passed the 2100 range. I say you’ll be fine for Barnard and case western. Northeastern is mid match depending on the competitiveness . They don’t seem like a highly selective university anyway so you’ll be fine.
Especially if you truly have a good essay, I’d be confident. Purdue and northeastern and UM are just high matches</p>

<p>WannaBeDocc, alright! I’m still unsure about Northeastern (30%), Barnard (25%) and U.Mich (30%). But we’ll see what happens. Thanks!</p>

<p>Percentages are just numbers. You could be the one inside that percentage :)</p>

<p>WannaBeDocc, Cheesy, but very kind lol. Hopefully that’s the case  Good luck with your own ventures!</p>

<p>bump…</p>

<p>What’s your UW GPA?</p>

<p>^ My school doesnt do UW GPA. It’s odd. If it helps, my high school is reasonably competitive within the midwest.</p>

<p>Sorry dude, I don’t know these colleges either, I feel bad for not being able to chance back =/</p>

<p>No worries “dude” :)</p>

<p>Not familiar with all of these but I’ll try. I think the biggest obstacle for you is GPA.</p>

<p>Barnard College (RD)- not sure
Bryn Mawr College (ED!!!)- high match/low reach (GPA)
Case Western Reserve University (EA)- match/high match
College of Wooster (EA)- not sure
Kenyon College (RD)- not sure
Northeastern University (EA)- match/high match
Oberlin College (RD)- not sure
Purdue University (EA)- match
Ohio State University (EA)- match
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor (EA)- low reach
Wellesley College (RD)- not sure
University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign (EA)- high match</p>

<p>Thanks for chancing me!</p>

<p>UMich - reach
UIllinois - Low reach / high match :-)</p>

<p>Am not very familiar with others… But you are a great applicant. </p>

<p>If possible, please chance me back
Chance me for Caltech, MIT, and all the Ivy Leagues!
