rank 1 in class of about 120
taken 2 ap classes out of 2 offered at my school
taken most rigorous class schedule possible at my school</p>

<p>Very involved in Scouting (eagle scout and numerous other leadership positions)
Band
Student Council
Golf (captain)
Debate
Scholastic Bowl
have my own job teaching private trombone lessons
also work elsewhere
National Honor society</p>

<p>my school is a small, private catholic school in Illinois (about 500 students)</p>

<p>no legacy, no minority</p>

<p>1) What are my chances of being accepted?
2) Should I apply early?</p>

<li>I think your chances are pretty good. I would probably re-take the SAT and ACT just to be safe, but I think your chances look good right now.</li>
<li>I am ULTRA-CONSERVATIVE when it comes to EA but my vote would be not unless you moved your ACT up a point or two. However, do I think it will harm you if you do....no, so take it for what it is worth.</li>
