Yet another chances thread

I did this a while ago but here it is updated
GPA- 3.81 UW (4.0 Sophmore year, 3.6 Junior year), around 4.6 W
I go to a pretty good private school in Michigan-we have sent 55 kids (out of about 350-400 kids) to UM the past 2 years.
Take just about all Honors/APs I can
Top 3-4% in class
33 ACT

Essays and Recs should be good
Not too good ECs:I own my own business that makes around $4500 per year for 6 years-put in about 1200 hours
Played Intramural Basketball for 3 years, IM Baseball for 2
Volunteer at church for 1.5 hrs most weeks for 5 years
Have coached baseball and basketball one year each
Other minor things-once again, not too good

Hopefully my Junior year grades don't hurt too much. What are my chances for LSA and Ross Pre-Admit?

They won’t care too much how much your business makes, more like what experience you have gained from it. You’re probably in for LSA, not sure about Ross preadmit but I think you’ve got a good shot for that too.

I think you’re in LSA. Ross on the other hand is probably a slight reach. Average GPA for Ross is a 3.9. Work diligently on those essays, if you plan to apply to Ross.

Yeah, I think you’re in for sure. The only bad thing I see is the downward trend, but I don’t think they care about that too much, do they?

Check out my chance thread too please xD

Entertainer, where did you get that stat? I saw it as a 3.8 GPA for the 2008 admits.

Match.
Class rank is very good and if what you say is true, then you should be admitted.
Just remember to apply early.

Only issue with trying to get into Ross: your ECs and your leadership. You don’t have much of either. Ross looks a lot at ECs and leadership.

Yea that was a typo. Average Ross GPA is a 3.8 and Average ACT score is a 32. I think you are a very qualified applicant. I’d say Match* When i said it might be a slight reach I was referring to the selectivity of program. Ross looks at more factors than GPA and standardized tests scores though. It can go either way.

To apply to Ross do you just need to do the one essay for it?

Well you have to do all the other required essays too but there is one essay you have to do if you want get admitted into Ross from high school.
