Planning on taking physics, comp sci AB, calc BC, and human geo.</p>
<p>All honors and APs.</p>
<p>ECs:
-3 yrs. Debate and Forensics, team treasurer, lots of awards.
-3 yrs quiz bowl, 2 yrs team captain, lots of awards.
-started spectrum, a club that promotes tolerance after a series of race motivated incidents. lots of volunteer hours there.
-400 volunteer hours at science center
-2 yrs Concert band, 2nd chair percussionist
-A few first place awards at state math contests.
-State national history day awards
-3 years research experience (2 at chemistry dept, 1 at physics at local college), physics research to be published in june/july.</p>
<p>I should have great recs and stellar essays.</p>
<p>Recs don't mattah for here, but they might you into that other school across the bay. You seem like you are a strong applicant, so, depending on where you're from, you have a very good to 15% or so chance. Roll the dice, and see what happens.</p>
<p>If we say yes, that'll make you more happier. If we say no, that will make you depressed. Why don't you just apply and see what happens. Sometimes, even 4.0's get rejected and sometimes even 3.0's get accepted. It all depends how competitive the applicant pool is and that information we is impossible to obtain.</p>
