I visited ND this summer with no expectations at all. (I was visiting with my best friend who is dying to go). Well I was very shocked to find that I fell in love with the place. I've been doing research ever since my visit and it's my number one choice now. The campus was beautiful and the academics are good, I love the Catholic aspect and the sports, and there are so many groups I can join. Of course now I want to know my chances at ND.

I'm a straight A student, except for one class (Calculus AB this year...C+ which didn't really affect my GPA and I got a 4 on the AP exam.) So my GPA is basically a 4.0 unweighted/4.154 weighted. I'll have taken 7 AP classes by the end of this year. I'm ranked 7/467 students at a pretty good school in Northern Virginia. My SAT isn't spectacular. 630 Verbal, 620 Math and 680 Writing, but I'm taking it again in October. I'm President of National Honor Society, have been in the highest band for 4 years, two of them I was flute section leader, for senior year I'm in the top choir at our school. Music is definitely a passion of mine. I did tennis 10-11 grade and drama 11-12 as stage manager and hopefully this year, actress. I did French Club 9-11 grade (maybe 12...don't know if I can do it this year since I'm not taking French) and French Honor Society where I was a tutor. I'm also in our school's gifted program.

I don't know what else I could mention...but does anyone think I have a shot? I'm thinking if I boost the SAT a bit and write a really good essay, I have a shot. But who knows?
