Hi everyone. Sorry for adding to the vast number of these kinds of threads... Anyways, I'm currently selecting courses for next year (junior year) and am in need of feedback regarding options for science. I'm definitely going to take AP Chemistry, but I also want to double up and take AP Physics (C: Mech). I think I'll be able to handle it if I can manage my time efficiently (I will be taking 3 other AP's next year: BC Calc, US History, and English Language), and my parents and counselor have no objections to it. However, I talked to my chemistry teacher (also the AP Chem teacher), and she told me basically that I would kill myself next year taking the two together and that I'd have a much easier time junior year taking AP Chem in conjunction with AP Bio instead (which, at my school, is basically just a lot of self-guided busy work). The AP Physics teacher here doesn't think it's a good idea either, but I have to consider that he doesn't know me as a student and that my school isn't exactly competitive. (Also, he said that it would be easier to take calc first junior year, and then learn to apply it senior year. I'm not that worried about calc itself - I know a lot of it already.) I've been thinking about this for a while, and I thought I wholeheartedly wanted to take physics next year, but now I'm starting to have some doubts. Like I said, at my school, AP Bio is basically a joke, and that's not what I want/need in terms of junior year classes.

TL;DR Should I take AP Physics in conjunction with AP Chem junior year, or should I hold off on physics until senior year and take AP Bio next year instead? Advice and feedback would be much appreciated. Thank you everyone! :)
