Yet another low gpa thread

Whats up everybody. I'm a senior studying at an international school in Japan. I'm Singaporean and have moved between NY, Japan, and Singapore (I was born in Singapore, moved to Japan for Pre-K, K, and 1st grade, spent 2-3 in Singapore, 4-5 in NY, 6-7 in Japan, 8-11 in Singapore, 12 in Japan). Both my parents graduated from the National University of Singapore and I have two siblings in Columbia right now. *Oh! I have to serve in the (Singaporean) army for two years after I graduate. *

My GPA is like a 3.2 UW and 3.3-3.4W I think.

My APs. The ones with no scores are the ones I'm taking this year. I'm pretty confident I'll get a 5 in calc in apes and at least a 4 for the rest.
AP Calc-
AP Chem-
AP Euro-
APES-
AP Lang-
AP Stats-5
AP Physics-4
APUS-Failed

SAT: 1980 on my 1st try. M: 700 V: 700 W: 580->I'm retaking it next month since I didn't do too well (my goal is 2200+)
ACT: 31 (29 with writing)-> I might retake it December since I didn't really study for it last year.

Sports and Clubs:
Varsity Swimming 9-12: I might get MVP or become a captain this year but it's going to be tough since I just moved this year.
JV Track and Field: 9-10
JV Cross Country: 12
SAVE Club: 9-12
Parkour Club: 11 Communications Director
Medical Explorers: 9-11
Global Issues Network: 12
Sok Sabay: 12

I left out the clubs which I didn't care about (and wasn't active).

My plan is to apply to all my reaches this year and ask for a two year deferment if I get in. If I don't get into any of them (which is very likely due to my GPA) I'll reapply to a proper mix of schools two years later while I'm in the army (being in the army should look good on my resume right?)... Looking at my reach school list I actually think I have no chance at all of getting in.
Emory
U San Diego
U Penn
Stanford
Brown
Cornell

What are my chances for the above and can anybody recommend suitable reach schools which I'll actually have a chance of getting in. I'm thinking of a Business related major and a minor in music.

I honestly don’t think you have a shot at any with those scores and GPA. Why don’t you apply to some lower tier schools? It’ll save you the application fees on these unrealistic options.

your SAT is not too bad, I would apply and see what happens, no harm in that

U have a chance at u San deigo
