Yet Another Math Prof Wins the Distinguished Teaching award

Satyan Devadoss was the latest prof to win the Alder award for distinguished teaching given by the Mathematical Association of America- http://www.williams.edu/messages/show.php?id=3319

I think he is the 5th Williams prof to get this award (the second highest is harvard with 2). It is now almost undisputed that Williams has the best undergraduate Math Department (at least when it comes to teaching) in the US.

Devadoss is awesome. He's brilliant, friendly, incredibly energetic, he can make you understand anything, and you can tell he loves his job. And he has cute kids.

Sorry, but the Alder award has only been given out for the past 4 years and this is Williams' first.

Only Harvey Mudd has had multiple winners.

sorry,
i must have confused the Alder award with the other mathematical association national award for teaching (who would have guessed there were so many awards for distinguished teaching ..it's good though)

I would say that Mudd shreds all when it comes to undergraduate instruction in Mathematics.
