yet another question about self-reporting scores

I know that self-reporting at all is optional. But if you choose to self-report, do you need to report scores for all the different tests you have taken?

DS took SAT I once, ACT once, and one SAT II, as well as 3 AP exams.

The ACT is better than the SAT I.

Can he self-report the ACT, SAT II, and AP exams without reporting the SAT I? Or once he starts self-reporting, will he have to answer the "how many times have you taken the SAT" question?

At most schools he will use score choice with the SAT to just report the SAT II and not the SAT I.

Thanks!!!

anyone know? thanks in advance!

It is up to you to self report any scores. You can just pick the standardized test that you want to report (e.g. ACT). But if you choose to self report, you need to answer the question faithfully.

mathmomvt, that is exactly my ds’ position. His took ACT only once and was much better than SAT. So he self reported ACT, all his SAT subject tests, and all his AP’s. He did not self report the SAT. I hope that is the right way to do it.

That is my question – if you choose to self-report do you have to answer the questions about ALL the tests, or just the ones you are choosing to self-report scores for? So can he truthfully answer all the ACT questions and just ignore the SAT I questions all together?

If you choose to report only ACT score, you don’t even need to answer the question for other test. They are under different sections.

Thanks for confirming, billcsho
