Yet another question

Almost all the classes I want to take are back to back. I was wondering if people get to class on time with only ten minutes between classes. I don’t know whether professors release or there are bells, but I am somewhat concerned that I’ll be late…and punctuality is very important to me. Also, how close are the main academic building to eachother. I know I’ll have classes in Hathorn, Pgill, and a ffeew others. If anyone could answer my question, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

What classes are you thinking of taking?

I'm thinking a FYS, plate techtonics, envvironment and society (I'm gonna be an envir studies major), and intermediate spanish I.

There are bells that ring at the end of every class and at the beginning of every class unless your class does not fall in the regularly scheduled time periods. Most of the buildings are pretty close together and campus is small so time is not really an issue. In fact, I found that I usually had 10 minutes to kill because my classes were so close together.
For buildings, Dana and Hathorn are right next to each other, so it only takes about 30 seconds to switch between these two buildings. Pgill is just diagonally behind these two buildings so it isn't much farther. The library seperates Carnegie from these other buildings but it still isn't a very long walk. The only walk that could potentially be a problem would be between Carnegie and Olin, which are on opposite sides of campus, but probably only if you got out of class late already. Last year I had back to back classes in Hathorn and Data as well as in Hathorn and Pgill and I had more problems with being to early rather than too late.

One final note: its good to cluster some of your classes together because it gives you larger blocks of free time. However, I would avoid having more than two classes in a row. Good luck!!!

Thanks. I appreciate it.
