Yet another retake thread!

Should I retake my SAT II score for US History? I got a 750 on the test and I'm not sure how I should feel about that. I want to apply to Brown and UPenn if that matters.

It’s fine man. the U.S. history is a very hard test, a 750 is great

Do it if you feel you can do better.

Thanks! Idk, coming on here, I’m not sure what’s good anymore =/

@treating- Probably. I only studied for 9 days and I know that I could have easily gotten a 780+ if I had more time but it is what it is.

Midosin, just to put it in perspective, you are in the 91st percentile. Top 9% of scorers. This is fantastic man, you have nothing to be worrying about. Remember, a 750 is a great score – and it looks really nice and clean.

I was expecting to get at least a 700 on math 2, but I ended up with a 650 :(. I am aiming for UCLA, etc. Should i retake it the first time it’s available in October? and what should I do to prep better?

Ahhh thread stealer!!! Lol, but yea. Although I am not sure what scores are good for top colleges, I know that the general consensus is that any score below a 700 is bad. But thats just me. I could easily be very, so very wrong

After being influenced by this website for a while, i know what you mean haha

Lol yea. My friend just messaged me back on Facebook and said she got a 670 on Math II and said (and I quote) “I am sooo getting into UPenn and Stanford, I mean look how great I did.” I had such an urge to bring up like 50 quotes from CC sayin that anything below a 750 is not that great.

I probably need to get a prep book and work on that over the summer.
