In so far at carnegie mellon, st joseph’s, and purdue’s krannert.
I should’ve applied to harvard just to see what a rejectance letter looks like cuz i’m getting tired of all these “congratulations”.
anyone else same experience?

also i think its hilarious it ALWAYS starts off Congratulations!

At least have a creative greeting. I recommend:

Happy Holidays!
Welcome to _______
You should be proud of yourself!
Greetings!

accepted to Purdue and UIUC engineering......still waiting for that elusive rejection letter

waiting to hear from Texas, CMU, Georgia Tech.

How can you be tired of getting accepted?

lol... my life isnt exactly perfect.... i dont really get acceptance letters whether it is honor societies or whatever... i'm tired of life.

maybe if Carnegie wasn't binding i would be happier. Right now its just a nuisance and a waste of space in my mail. Those big envelopes sure take alot of space.

In April I really hope I can say the same.....

Actually, I got into Georgetown SFS EA, and their letter didn't start with congratulations. "It is my pleasure" or something like that

Yeah, I got into Amherst ED and their letter started off "I am pleased to inform you..."

If I'm ever in the position to give someone an acceptance letter, I swear I'm going to start it off with "We're sorry..."

Yea I kind of want to get rejected at one of hte shcools I don't acutally want to go to just so I learn what a rejection letter looks like, haha.

why don't you just ask a friend to see theirs? :)

Mine came in a little folder-type thing which said Congratulations on the outside. Kinda gave it away...

duke, did you do ED to CMU?

Yea, thus binding.

Make no mistakes I was overjoyed to see carnegie's acceptance letter. The ones that followed were annoying :(. Congrats to the people who actually got unique admissions letters.

im sure you guys who are bragging about being accepted too much will get rejected for something, afterall, someone who boasts that much couldnt be THAT sucessful where he/she gets accepted to everything. "im tired of acceptance" ahah you guys would be crying ur *** off to ur mommy if u got rejected for ANY of those colleges, so dont sit here and complain about how life is horrible bcause you got accepted, some people on this board are wishing and hoping for april/march to come so that they can be in the same spot as you guys. there are some others who were either rejected/deferred ED to the same schools u guys are talking about, and you just made a complete moron of yourself as well as made someone else feel bad. ***, you should be ashamed!

well said :)

i quite agree. i haven't been rejected, but that's just because i only applied to safeties. i'm lazy like that. or insecure, not sure which. probably a mix of both. but i assure you, if i did apply to my dream schools, princeton and MIT, i'd be holding a rejection letter at some point. perhaps that's why i didn't apply to those places. i'm effing asian majoring in engineering with nothing going for me; reality can be bitter. but i'm ready to fully embrace my future at purdue, yay for me!
