I got waitlisted at Wharton and was wondering if the yield rate has been revealed yet. Was it higher, lower, or about what the school expected?

It’s higher than expected. They already over-enrolled.

[The Daily Pennsylvanian :: Penn sees highest yield rate since 2007](Penn sees highest yield rate since 2007 | The Daily Pennsylvanian)

Hmmm…I don’t know if Penn releases this data, but does anybody know about Wharton specifically?

Also, the article mentions that Penn has accepted 55-175 off the waitlist in recent years. Would the number probably be closer to ~40-50 this year? How many total students are on the waitlist?

^ No, Penn does not release school-specific data.

And the answers to your other two questions can be found in the DP article.

Oh whoops, I only read the first couple paragraphs. my bad

^ No problem. :)

i feel like it might even be possible that penn doesn’t take any students off the wait list this year…
