So, in case you don’t know, on twitter, college-bound seniors often send “acceptance tweets” stating where they got in/are going, etc. once decisions come out. I’ve always fantasized about going to uchicago and made one of those tweets with NO INTENTION of sending it out. I was thinking that maybe i could use it when they do release decisions if i were to (hopefully) be accepted. But instead of hitting the save button on the tweet to keep it in my drafts, I hit the TWEET button. i didnt realize it until i started getting all these congrats messages!!! i instantly went into panic mode and had to do an entire public service announcement that i didnt actually get in because decisions arent released until december and that everything was an accident…
hopefully i do get to write out that uchicago acceptance tweet for real though, one day…
