I've been putting off sending in my letter to Rice for a while. I finally just emailed it but I've heard Rice is already taking kids off the waitlist. Am I too late?

SHould I bother printing out and also mailing a hard copy of the letter of will email suffice? I'm REALLY nervous that my email will get lost in the shuffle and never read. Any way for me to confirm they received my letter?

Also, I just realized I left out one line in the email and I don’t want to annoy them by sending in the edited email. I was going to explicitly let them know that if I was accepted off the waitlist, I would attend (provided I could afford) but I forgot that little bit. However, I basically gave strong signals that rice is my first choice and I really want to go there (“would be honored to be a part of the class of 2014”) and basically outright toldthem it was and still is my top choice

I would still mail it in as well… address it to Julie Browning, if possible (she’s in charge of admissions, look at ur admissions letter to see her proper position). Rice will probably accept more off the waitlist after May 1st.
